One of the most significant motor sport events that will take place in our country this year is indisputably the introductory event of the Grand Prix series on the long track. The last time, a race of such a quality could have been seen in the Czech Republic, was ten years ago.
Upon the last year’s success in the qualification race of the world championship, the representatives of AMK Mariánské Lázně, who grasp this challenge of organising the long track event, set themselves a goal to bring the long track races back to the notice of the audience and in the limelight of media. This year’s race brings to the start line eighteen worldwide best racers and among them our best racers Richard Wolf, Pavel Ondrašík and Zdeněk Schneiderwind surely want to win over them. No doubt that numerous fans from Germany will come to support their representatives in Mariánské Lázně.
The same encouragement would surely deserve our racers as well and that’s why a great advertising campaign starts from 5 to 9 March 2008 at the Prague exhibition ground in Holešovice within the greatest motorcycle exhibition MOTOCYCLE 2008 in our country. In the joint stand, besides the World Long Track championship, the manufacturer of JRM speedway motorcycles and the 60th anniversary of the Golden Helmet in Pardubice will be introduced there. Also people in Plzeň, where the advertising campaign continues from 28 to 30 March at the exhibition Motosalon Plzeň taking place in the DK invest palace of culture will enjoy themselves.
